But you have a mission. You accept who you are and use your powers to help others, even though they usually don't recognize or appreciate your aid.

What is this game?

Not a Monster is a hack of Cezar Capacle's Not a Demon hack, a game about perseverance and creativity, about seeing beyond appearances, and being true to who you are.

You play as a person with powers derived from genetic mutations and imbued with the purpose of protecting and helping others. Despite your honorable calling, most of the population sees you as a monster, and they treat you as one.

Your superhuman capabilities and often even your unusual appearance prevent you from leading a traditional life. You tend to live mainly with other mutants, go out in disguise and act without drawing much attention. What you manage to do is both miraculous and terrifying for the people.

The persecutions you suffer will tell you to give up and stop helping or become the monster they say you are. But you know your truth and you are determined to be a guardian and a helper of these people, even if they never recognize you as such.
